They say a picture is worth a thousand words. A thousand words. And there are so many things that speak to me when I look at the picture featured in this blog.
To have someone’s hand in yours. To hold someone’s hand is to tell that person, hey, you’re not alone. You are not alone. I’m here too. I’m here with you. And I want to help you.
And then there’s the concept of the human chain. That we are all interconnected. That you and I, you know, really aren’t that different. We are all connected. We each make up a valuable piece of the universal spirit. A thread runs among us, and connects us.
The tattoo itself, as I wrote about in the, “Humans of Fort Walton,” blog, is of the neurotransmitter serotonin. The neurotransmitter responsible for regulating mood, anxiety and happiness.
A neurotransmitter that fuels the thousands of words that pour into this blog on the daily.
